Terms of Service

1. The service

Tindra is a desktop application for co-writing novels with AI assistance. A subscription grants you a license key that activates the application on a limited number of devices for the duration of your subscription.

2. Purchases and billing

Subscriptions are sold through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your Lemon Squeezy customer portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.

3. Free trial

New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

4. Your content

Everything you write or generate in Tindra belongs to you. Tindra stores your work locally on your device; we do not receive, store, or claim any rights to your manuscripts.

5. Third-party AI providers

Tindra connects to AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Google, and Venice.ai) using API keys you supply. Your use of those providers is governed by their terms, and usage costs are billed to you by them directly. You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated content complies with your providers' policies.

6. License restrictions

You may not resell, share, or redistribute your license key, or attempt to circumvent license enforcement. We may revoke keys involved in abuse or fraud.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Tindra is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding a claim. Always keep backups of your work using the built-in export tools.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
